Project Description: The intent of this project is to modify existing infrastructure to accommodate the infrastructure requirements of new Atlas Copco Clean Dry Air (CDA) system and Velico Frontline On Demand Plasma (ODP) system equipment. Contractor to provide all required construction barriers, dust partitions, negative air machines, temporary HVAC and utilities, and other accommodations required by this work. Include temporary support or relocation of ceiling tiles, lights, fire sprinkler heads, and other utilities. Reinstall all ceiling mounted devices after mechanical work is complete and new ceilings are complete. Contractor to provide and install new lay in T bar type suspended ceilings or gypsum board ceilings in spaces to match the existing. All general contracting work including ceiling installation, finishing, and painting shall be under this contract. Contractor to seal all penetrations in fire rated assemblies within the areas associated with this work whether created by this contractor or not. Contractor shall repair any exposed wall and floor penetrations to match existing. Replace any existing duct that contains internal lining unless otherwise approved by DHA. The contractor shall be responsible for off-base disposal of all removed equipment and associated components. The repair/renewal shall meet all current codes, regulations, and standards, including any local Design and Construction Guidelines.
