Project designed by Maestas & Associates Project Background: This project replaces the underground fuel storage tank (UST), piping, dispensers, and automatic tank gauges at Police Training Academy location. Scope of Service: Scope of work includes removing existing UST, dispenser, and ATG. POC is Isai Rodriguez. The Deadline for questions is scheduled for June 11, 2024 at 4:00PM (CT). Written Questions via Online. This scope of work pertains solely to construction services, with no involvement in design services. The project has been designed by Maestas under a City Contract. The scope includes the removal and installation of one existing underground storage tank (UST) and one fuel island. Installation encompasses the setup of double nozzle single product dispensers, double wall UST, double wall fire-resistant fluid (FRF) piping, submerged turbine pump, automatic tank gauge (ATG), and a concrete hold-down slab over the USTs. All equipment specified in the plans and specifications shall be installed as per the provided design. The existing canopy at the site will remain intact, and contractors must ensure its preservation throughout demolition and construction phases. The new storage and dispensing system will feature one double wall 12,000-gallon underground storage tank (UST) designated for storing unleaded fuel, along with two double nozzle single product dispensers. The estimated construction budget for this contract is $600,000.00. It is understood and agreed that the work is to be substantially completed on or before 100 calendar days.. This project does not include hazardous environmental work. This project requires 0 project sign(s). City may elect to award this Project based solely on the base bid, based on a combination of the base bid plus any combination of selected alternates or based on a combination of the base bid plus all alternates that serve the best interest of City. All bids must include a price for all units or line items, including any alternates. Entering a price of "$0.00" shall mean the units or line items will be provided at no cost to City. A unit price left blank shall result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and disqualified from consideration. City reserves the right to delete line items prior to award.
