Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Americus, Georgia. Design plans call for the demolition of a laboratory facility; for the construction of a laboratory facility; and for site work for a laboratory facility.
The scope of work includes Design and construction of a 23,000-square-foot Natural Sciences Laboratory facility at Georgia Southwestern State University, including state-of-the-art instructional labs and support spaces to replace the existing Roney and Science buildings. As of July 14, 2025, this project is in the design development phase through the 2025/26 academic year. An architect and construction manager have been selected. Construction is anticipated to start late summer 2026.
