The County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County The Project consists of one prime contract for the abandonment of the Miami Shores Wellfield. Nine (9) wells that supplied groundwater from the mid-1950's until 1988 will be abandoned and the equipment removed to four feet (4') below the ground surface. The Project is located at the Miami Shores Wellfield adjacent to the Moraine Airpark in the City of Moraine, Montgomery County, Ohio. The summary of the Work described in this Section is an overall summary of the responsibilities of the CONTRACTOR and the CONTRACTOR's relationship to the OWNER. It does not supersede the specific requirements of the other Contract Documents. In addition to the standards included in these Contract Documents, all work shall comply with the following: 1. Montgomery County Environmental Services Rules and Regulations, latest revision. 2. Miami Conservancy District requirements, as they apply. CONTRACTOR's attention is directed to the requirements of the Sections of Division 1 - General Requirements. These general requirements complement the related specific work specified in Division 2 through Division 16 although Division 1 Sections are not directly referenced in the Sections of Division 2 through Division 16. All requirements of Division 1 through Division 16 are binding on the CONTRACTOR and are not exclusive of each other. ENGINEER shall resolve all disputes and provide clarifications and interpretations as stated in Article 9 of the General Conditions.
