Demolition and site work for a residential development in Binghamton, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

4C08 Bathroom Demo Address: 249 Glenwood Rd Binghamton, NY 13905 4C08 Demolition, Plumbing, and rough framing. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Upon completion of 4C08 Demolition, Plumbing, and rough framing, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the Maintenance Supervisor. 1. Perform demolition work, rough plumbing work, and install all rough framing. Per attached drawings pertaining only to 4C08 for this project. 2. The demolition & rough plumbing must include a separate line item to have this work completed after normal business hours (after 5pm or on weekend days). 3. Remove existing tile flooring. Coordinate with new Plumbing plan for extents. Remove existing floor drain(s) in its entirety. Coordinate with new plumbing plan. 4. Remove existing tile from the wall in its entirety. Coordinate with new work drawings for extents. 5. Remove existing casework in its entirety. 6. Remove existing plumbing fixtures in its entirety. Coordinate with new Plumbing plan. 7. Rough Plumbing must be correct to match new plumbing fixture requirements and new wall construction. 8. Existing vent piping must be able to be reconnected in a way that makes sense for the new piping configuration. No vent shall be disconnected and left "open", install a temporary cap, or plug until it is reconnected. 9. Sewer & drain piping shall be properly plumbed and kept free of construction debris at all times. Please install temporary plugs in any open sewer or drain piping. 10. Floors should generally pitch towards the floor drain when completed and be free of pooling. Make sure floor drains are not situated where the new partitions will mount. 11. Floor drain covers should be square. 12. Rough Framing shall be in accordance with the attached Stamped Drawings. 13. Metal Framing members must be 16ga. Minimum thickness. 14. Contractor shall warrantee work for a period of one year from date of payment for job. Warrantee shall be for parts and labor. 15. Do not tie new sewer & drain piping into the roof drain systems. 16. Work shall conform to all applicable codes, be done according to manufacturer's instructions, and follow industry best practices. Method of Award: This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Broome DDSO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude and its subject to vendor responsibility determination. Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Broome DDSO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The Broome DDSO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note, all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitor log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the Maintenance Department. In the event of a tie, contract will be awarded to the Contractor whose bid was received earliest. Contract term: Within 60 days of receiving the purchase order. NYS Labor law requires that all contracted employees performing maintenance, repairs or capital improvements in state owned buildings receive the prevailing wage and supplements rate for the occupation in which they are working. Certified payroll record/s MUST be submitted at the time of invoicing. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid.
