Site work for a civil project in Minburn, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Project shall include open ditch repairs consisting of 48,000 CY of excavation over a 3 mile long ditch including silt removal, spoil leveling, rock pickup, tillage, temporary and permanent seeding, pipe replacement, rip rap, culvert cleaning, and all associated work and incidentals required to complete the project. Directions: Project is located 7 miles SW of Minburn, Iowa in Dallas County Drainage District No. 41. Est. Value: $ 398,000.00 Work on the improvement shall commence upon approval of the contract by the Board of Supervisors, and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be completed, per Iowa Code Section 468.101, no later than March 15th, 2025. Damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for each day the work remains incomplete. Est. Completion Date: March 15, 2025 Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 468.35a of the Iowa Code in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, which includes Sections 1, 2 and 3. The Board of Supervisors reserves their right to reject any and all bids. Bids will be considered and awarded based on the low Base Bid.
