Renovation of a medical facility in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Island Health has issued this Request for Proposals for the purpose of inviting proposals from construction management firms to undertake a Fire Alarm Replacement Project at WCGH and Westhaven Long Term Care Home located at 3949 Port Alberni Hwy, Port Alberni, for the services and construction as outlined in the RFP. The existing Fire Alarm systems at West Coast General Hospital (WCGH) and Westhaven a Long-term Care Home require replacement. The system is out of date and needs to be brought up to current BC Building Code standards. There are two separate systems; one for WCGH and one at Westhaven which will (ideally) communicate with each other.
