General Scope of Work: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary to remove the existing asphalt shingle roof on two (2) buildings and install in its place new metal panel roofs. Work shall include demolition, carpentry, painting, and metal panel roofing. Contractor is responsible for verifying all dimensions and existing conditions, all in accordance with the Invitation for Bids and Contract Documents. The Architect's probable cost for this project ranges from $220,940.00 to $232,569.00. This project does NOT have Federal Aid funding *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Pre-Bid Meeting Notes: A virtual public bid opening of responses will be conducted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department via Microsoft Teams. Interested attendees must register in advance for this meeting using the link below. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Site Visit Notes: A visit to the project site is not mandatory, however, TPWD strongly encourages potential bidders to view the project site and offers no guarantee the project site will be accessible to potential bidders at any time other than the time specified in this solicitation package. Therefore, failure to take advantage of the site visit time listed herein may result in potential bidders who are unable to visit the project site at all. Failure to give proper consideration to site conditions when preparing the bid will not constitute grounds for additional compensation. Project Schedule: All work shall be completed within seventy-five (75) calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This performance period includes completing the various aspects required to complete the Work, including submission of all Submittals, mobilization, procurement, installation, testing, inspection, and delivery of documents described in the Uniform General Conditions, Article 12, 12.1.1.1.
