It is the City's intent that the successful Firm will be involved for the full duration of the design development, preparation of construction and bidding documents, and construction administration phases for the traffic signal at Barron Road and Decatur Drive. The successful Firm, its subsidiaries, parent entities, partners, other entities that share common ownership or control, and/or any subconsultant firms utilized for this project, are prohibited from bidding on the construction phase of this project. The budget for this project is approximately $[500,000.00]. A general description of the scope of work for this project is provided below. The selected firm shall perform the services necessary to develop the Design Criteria Package. Deliverables for this project include but are not limited to, construction drawings to include, specifications and permit drawings, and permit applications. Geotechnical Engineering services Data Collection Accident and Traffic Analysis Pedestrian Facility Improvements Environmental Documentation, Public Involvement ROW/Easement Identification Topographic Surveying Utility Engineering Services Provide construction cost estimates at each design phase Provide design schedule and estimated construction time The City reserves the right to accept any or all SOQs as a result of this request, to negotiate with all qualified sources, or to cancel, in part or in its entirety, this RFQ if found in the best interest of the City. All SOQs become the property of the City of College Station.
