The City of Alexandria, Virginia is an urban community of 15.75 square miles with a population of approximately 159,647. With its stable residential neighborhoods, its historic districts, and its proximity to Washington, D.C., the City continues to attract new residents, tourists, and businesses. The City has issued this ITB to obtain Bids from qualified Bidders and enter a Contract with a licensed and qualified Contractor to provide construction services for upgrades to the City's two (2) fuel depots in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained herein and in the supporting attachments provided as separate PDF downloads. The project will include renovations to the Witter Wheeler fuel island located at 3400 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 and refurbishments to the PSC fuel station located at 2001 Mill Road, Alexandria, VA 22314. This project will be managed by the City's Department of General Services (DGS). The successful Bidder shall provide all goods, services, labor, and required bonds and insurance necessary to meet or exceed the requirements and specifications described herein and specified in the Construction drawings (Attachments J-8 and J-11).
