In order to ensure a fair and objective evaluation, all questions and inquiries related to this Request for Proposal shall be addressed in writing via the Q&A feature available through the Bidding Portal. The deadline for written questions is 2:00 p.m. CT on June 12th, 2024. The City of College Station is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms interested and qualified to perform the necessary evaluation, design, and related functions required for development of plans and specifications for the design of a new traffic light signal at Pebble Creek Pkwy and William D Fitch. It is the intent of the City to select a single consultant to accomplish all of the services outlined in this Request for Qualifications. The City reserves the right to accept any or all SOQs as a result of this request, to negotiate with all qualified sources, or to cancel, in part or in its entirety, this RFQ if found in the best interest of the City. All SOQs become the property of the City of College Station. It is the City's intent that the successful Firm will be involved for the full duration of the design development and preparation of construction documents for the traffic signal at Pebble Creek Pkwy and William D Fitch. The successful Firm, its subsidiaries, parent entities, partners, other entities that share common ownership or control, and/or any subconsultant firms utilized for this project, are prohibited from bidding on the construction phase of this project. The budget for this project is approximately $[500,000.00]. A general description of the scope of work for this project is provided below. The selected firm shall perform the services necessary to develop the Design Criteria Package. Deliverables for this project include but are not limited to, construction drawings to include, specifications and permit drawings, and permit applications.
