The City of Inkster has allocated funds to begin the elimination of CSO outfalls 010, 011, & L-41. The elimination will be completed in four (4) phases. Phase 2 will consist of the construction of a large storm sewer and repaving along Princess Ave from Annapolis to Princeton. This will include tying into existing junction chambers at Yale and New York. Phase 3 will consist of the construction of new pump station at 3700 John Daly Road, at the southwest corner of John Daly Road and Carlysle Street. This pump station will take the place of the existing pump station at this location. The intake pipeline and discharge force mains at the site will be constructed with the E. Outfalls CSO Elimination Phase 4 project. Phase 4 will consist of the elimination of outfalls 010 and 011 as well as construction of sanitary relief sewers and repaving along Princess Ave from Carlysle to Yale, along Carlysle from Beech Daly to John Daly, and along Meadowdale from Colgate to Carlysle.
