This project consists of repairs on two bridge locations on Yadkin Road and Atlantic Ave in the City of Raleigh . The project will be directed by the Department of Transportation Manager or Designee. The Contractor shall complete the work in this contract in strict accordance with City Standards. Specific locations have been provided as an attachment, within this contract. In review of the Bid, Vendors may have questions to clarify or interpret the bid to submit the best bid possible. To accommodate the bid questions process, Vendors shall submit any such questions by Wednesday July 3, 2024 @ 2:00PM. The City will not entertain any further questions after the question deadline. The City will answer all questions in addenda to the bid and post on the eVP website. No proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing, the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. In the alternative, a five percent (5%) bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the General Statutes of North Carolina and must comply with nondiscrimination provisions. (2) The bidder further agrees to begin work within 10 calendar days from date of Contract Notice to Proceed. (3) The bidder represents and agrees to complete the entire project by 120 days from date of notice to proceed.
