Sealed tenders for the following Grading and Snow Removal on FSR's in the Burns Lake, Houston, and Smithers Area. The proposed contract requires the provision of approximately 450 km of surface Grading, up to 45 hours of hourly grading, 45 hours of water truck use , up to 150 hours of snow ploughing, up to 300 km's of snow removal, and Mobilization/De-mobilization costs by km. The works are located across the Bulkley, Morice and Lakes Timber Supply areas in the Babine Business Area depending on need and as directed by the Ministry official. Be aware that BCTS has made changes to its EMS and SFM programs to meet the updated 2022 Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Forest Management Standard. Changes impacting BCTS clients include new training requirements (Table 008-1, 008-1A, Tailgate Training, SFI Awareness documents, and new Indigenous rights awareness training, as well as changes to training frequency and a new continuing education component). In addition, note changes to EMS/SFM Environmental Field Procedures and Incident Reporting Procedures which occurred June 1, 2022.
