The PWSB has approximately 18,000 residential accounts in the City o et to expire on August 28th, 2024. Currently, 1,812 customers are enrolled in that protection plan. PWSB customers enrolled in this program will be provided a service for the repair or replacement of their water service from its connection at the PWSB owned curb stop to the main shut-off valve located within the customer's home. The program is a residential protection plan and not a commercial/industrial program. Enrollment in this program shall be restricted to one through six family residential dwellings located in PWSB service territory with a service line size no greater than 2 inch in diameter. The limits of the repair or replacement of the service line shall be from the curb box/curb valve and extend to and include the customer's main house shut-off valve. The customer's main house shut-off valve shall be included in the repair/replacement if defective, but not as the reason for a repair call. The repair work on any customer's service that is constructed of a material other than copper shall require full service replacement with new copper piping, per PWSB Rules & Regulations. The selected proposer shall be compensated for its services through the enrolled PWSB customers' predetermined annual fee. The proposer shall contract with, bill, and receive payment directly from each PWSB customer enrolled in the program. Proposals found to be technically or substantially non-responsive at any point in the evaluation process will be rejected and not considered further.
