This Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is for the purpose of acquiring Proposals from interested firms to provide environmental assessment, reporting, and remediation of contaminated substances as they relate to the various projects and functions of the Department of Transportation and its related responsibilities within statewide jurisdiction. Specifically, we need a consultant who can bring resources to test, remove, and remediate contaminated materials from State project sites, rights-of-way, and state-owned lands. Additionally, firms must have the ability to create, review, and implement remediation plans for DelDOT project sites as well as for maintenance and operations functions including some maintenance facilities. The consultant should also be able to provide general industrial hygiene services and create or review documentation on worker health and safety. Elements involved in this agreement consist of the assessment, investigation, and remediation of environmentally sensitive substances.
