Site work for a water / sewer project in Loxley, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of constructing a re-aligned and re-graded stream channel and floodplain with stability structures incorporated throughout. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Inquiries should be directed to: Nick Combs, ncombs@thompsonengineering.com; 251-284-1088. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work and bid security in accordance with and as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids submitted shall be sealed and include the project name marked on the outside of the envelope. The City of Loxley reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities in the bidding. Minority and womens business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises.
