The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: Excavation and the removal of the existing 1600mm CSP culvert and section of 500mm and 800mm concrete culvert. Supply and installation of a new 1200mm HDPE culvert, including supply, placement, and compaction of all bedding. Rock under bedding to be placed where existing culvert was removed. Supply and installation of new custom cast in place headwalls at inlet and outlet to accommodate multiple pipes, including handrails. The new headwalls are a modification of MI standard detail 4060. Debris rack to be included at upstream headwall as shown on drawings. Note that the new debris rack is a modification of the MI standard detail 4070. Supply and install new 1200mm diameter manhole and 525mm HDPE storm sewer, including connection of existing 500mm concrete sewer. Supply and install new 900mm HDPE storm sewer, including connection to existing manhole. Extend existing 400mm and 600mm concrete culvert to tie into new riprap Removal and replacement of catch basin (CB0486R), complete with new 375mm storm sewer. Supply and Placement of fill to accommodate raised culvert, tie into existing stream bed. Supply and placement of Riprap. Supply, place and compact 300mm Class B, 200mm Class A, two 50mm lifts of asphalt Reinstatement of curb and gutter, concrete and grass islands, light poles and traffic signage as shown on drawings. Temporary removal of existing water main and sanitary sewer if their locations are a risk during excavation of the 1675mm culvert. Contractor to confirm exact locations and depth on site and if it is determined that utilities are a risk, the contractor shall remove and reinstate with new water and sanitary sewer. The cost of this work shall be complete under a cash allowance. Remove and reinstall existing light pole on island. Dewatering as required to complete the work.
