Demolition, site work and addition to a fitness / recreation center in Williamsburg, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a fitness / recreation center; for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

The project includes the hiring of consulting services for the construction of a new addition to the Recreation Center, to be located at the existing property of 939 S Highland St. (PARCEL 2001-45 SW NW & NW SW). The new addition shall be approximately 45'-0" x 75'-0" x 12'-0" height, located on the south end of the existing building, and shall connect to the existing structure via one walkway/door. There are power lines located on the south side of the building that may impact the dimensions of the addition to maintain adequate separation distance. The new addition is anticipated to be an open room designated for workout equipment and various activities. No restrooms or similar facilities requiring water and/or sanitary sewer are anticipated in the new addition. Construction will also include the removal of an interior wall separating the racquetball court from the room to the west. Refer to Figures 1 and 2 in Section 12.0 for more information. The new addition should be constructed in adherence with current code requirements and should generally match the aesthetics of the existing Recreation Center.
