Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The objective of the project is to complete repair work at the artificial turf sportfield located at Timberlea Community Park (TCP) Sportfield. Scope Inclusions: Repair as per landscape drawings and in accordance with construction specifications. Rolling turf back where required. Examining, amending and regrading granular subbase where required within field extents. Turf seaming, repair, replacements and installation. Installation of staples where turf has been lifted or deemed loose. Installation of new shredded black rubber (SBR) infill. Installation of Duckbilled style check valve (or approved equivalent) in accordance with engineering drawings (Appendix F – Attachment 1 – Issue for Tender Drawings). Perform exploratory daylighting of existing perimeter drainage, four (4) locations identified on the engineering drawings (Appendix F – Attachment 1 – Issue for Tender Drawings). Install four (4) cleanouts at the corners of the field for maintenance purposes. CCTV inspection and subsequent flushing of field drainage system. Verify overall length of drainage piping under field as well as approximate locations. Install manhole cover. Examination, investigation, and remedy of ‘sink hole’ conditions along 20-yard line at east side of field. Progress photos at key stages of repair and installation.
