Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lompoc, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Scope of Work: Project includes demolition of (2) modular classrooms including safe-off of all utilities and footprint remediation, relocation of (1) 30x32 modular classroom to new location on same site including new power/data/fire alarm and replacement of that unit's wall-mounted HVAC unit and safe-off of utilities at the current location and footprint remediation, site preparation for District installation of (2) 24x40 portable classrooms including grading/drainage and a/c paving adjustments, and power/comm/fire alarm systems to the new classroom. Work also includes purchase and installation of prefabricated ramps for the (3) classrooms in the scope of work, enlargement of chain link gates, and miscellaneous other improvements. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Lompoc Unified School District, in the amount of then percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid The Board of Education of the Lompoc Unified School District reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. The District makes no representation that participation in the RFP process will lead to an award of contract or any consideration whatsoever. In no event will the District be responsible for the cost of preparing a response to this RFP. The District also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in received submittals.
