The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, parts, machinery, transportation, and supplies services necessary for generator maintenance at the locations listed. The work will include both scheduled and short-notice emergency services. Further requirements are specified below. The selected contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and the selected contractor shall inspect, and service equipment listed in accordance with the specifications herein. The selected contractors shall submit a detailed preventative maintenance (PM) program proposal outlining all the task that willbe performed at each service interval, including pricing. All work performed on generators will carry a one-year, unconditional warranty on parts and labor. All replacement parts shall be new and of the same quality and brand name as those being replaced. Any repair service above and beyond preventative maintenance will require an estimate being submitted to the EDIC Authorized Representative. Repair work must be of an acceptable level in terms of cost, time and workmanship. All work must be performed in such a manner as not to inconvenience building tenants. The selected contractor shall secure any and all permits, inspections and licenses necessary for the execution of the work. The lowest responsible and eligible bidder for this Project will be invited to enter into a contract with the EDIC to perform the scope of work as set forth in the provided bid documents, including addenda. The value of the resulting maintenance contract is not expected to exceed FortyFive Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($45,000.00) A Minority Business Enterprise or "MBE" is a certified firm that is owned, operated, and controlled by one or more individuals who are African American, Hispanic American, Native American, or Asian American who have at least 51% ownership of the firm. A Woman Business Enterprise or "WBE" is a certified firm that is owned, operated, and controlled by one or more women who have at least 51% ownership of the firm. The BPDA reserves the right to postpone or withdraw this SFQ; to accept or reject any and all written quote responses; to modify or amend the terms of this SFQ prior to the receipt of written quote response or to waive any minor informality requirement of this SFQ with respect to all vendors; all as the BPDA may deem to be in the best interest of the BPDA and/or the City of Boston. All questions should be submitted by email no later than Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 5:00 PM to the Lauren Firnstein, Deputy Director of Real Estate Operations via BPDARealEstate@boston.gov and the BPDA Procurement Office at BPDA.CPO@boston.gov.
