As of July 18, 2024 this project was awarded to Gum Creek Farms Inc. with the awarded amount of $3,545,582.25. The projects estimated cost is $3,500,000.00. East Side Parking Expansion. Okaloosa County (County) and the Destin-fort Walton Beach Airport (Airport) Desire Toconstruct a New Asphalt Paved Employee Parking Lot (23,000 Sy) and a Smaller Waiting Lot for Tncs(4,000 Sy). Construction Will Include Limerock Base, Sp12.5 Asphalt, Markings, Signs, a Prefabricated Restroom, Lighting, Fiber Optic for Access Control, Concrete Drainage Pipe, Curb, and Other items for a Complete, Useable Facility on the East Side of the Airport. Funding for This Project is Being Provided by State Funds and Will Be Subject to All Applicable Countyand State Requirements as Determined Applicable. The County Reserves the Right to Award the Bid to the Lowest Responsive Respondent and to Waive Any irregularity or Technicality in Bids Received.
