Site work and paving for a road / highway in Albany, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of July 29, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The Project is expected to be awarded by end of August.** asphalt pavement removal and replacement for the +/-1,080' long Myrtle Road Alley from N. Ingleside Drive to N. Magnolia Street. Work includes demolition, clearing, erosion and sedimentation measures, grading, storm drainage, concrete driveways, and pavement (prime coat, 2" asphaltic concrete surface course), base and all associated work as required located in Albany, GA in accordance with bid documents, specifications, and all other contract documents. This project will be bid on a lump sum basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest total base bid. A 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Sid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. The City of Albany strongly encourages Small Business firms to participate in this bid. The City of Albany reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. For additional information, contact Ricky Gladney, Buyer I, at (229) 431-3211.
