This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
This project consists of a two (2) year contract (2024-2025) for electrical maintenance which includes 24-hour emergency repair service at various Public Buildings owned by the City of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Any questions related to this contract should be addressed in writing to Mr. Albeiro Hincapie, Jr., Superintendent of Public Buildings, Markets and Docks. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier check or surety bond of a corporation acceptable to the City and in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid presented, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. Each bidder must also submit with his bid a certificate from a responsible surety company stating that the said surety company will provide in the event that he should be the successful bidder, surety bond(s) in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contracted price and subject to such conditions as contained in the specifications. Any award with respect to this matter is specifically contingent upon the availability of sufficient funds having been appropriated in the municipal budget. The City specifically reserves the right to waive minor or inconsequential discrepancies and technical omissions in accordance with applicable law, with regard to the bidding requirements and as determined by City Council to be immaterial. City Council reserves the right to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and any bid that is non-responsive or submitted by a bidder that is not responsible or to award contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, in accordance with applicable law. ***Document Note: Please call to arrange for pickup of documents.
