For the 42nd AVENUE SEWER PUMP STATION REPLACEMENT, Longview, Washington, City Project No. 1942. This project provides for the construction of a sanitary sewer pump station near the intersection of 42nd Avenue and Pine Street in Longview, Washington. The project includes surveying, traffic control, demolition of the existing pump station; construction of a new pump station, including wetwell, vaults, and electrical control shelter; site restoration and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications The City of Longview accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and submit inadequate or incorrect responses. All work performed on this project will be subject to the Washington State prevailing wage rates. Cash, cashier's check, certified check and/or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid price shall accompany all bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The City Council reserves the right to: reject any and/or all bids; accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City; waive any informalities in the bidding; delay the award of the bid until a regular Council meeting.
