The project is expected to be awarded on September 5, 2024.** Applegarth 3.4 Mg Water Storage Tank Painting and Miscellaneous Improvements Project. The Project Includes Abrasion Blasting of All Interior Wet And Dry Surfaces and Exterior Surfaces and Recoating All Interior Wet and Dry and Exterior Surfaces of The Existing 3.4 Million Gallon Hydropillar Water Storage Tank, Coordination With Telecommunication Carriers, (Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T) on All Matters Relating to the Temporary and Permanent Relocation And Operation of the Telecommunication Equipment Mounted to the Storage Tank Exterior, Removal, Storage, and Reinstallation of the Existing Pax Mixer Currently Installed Within the Tank Wet Interior, Spot Repairs in Tank Interior Which Are Identified After Tank Dewatering, All Associated Containment, Protection, and Controls Associated With the Blast Cleaning and Recoating Operations, Disposal of All Blast-cleaned Materials From the Site, Replacement of the Screen Located at the Discharge of the Overflow Pipe and on the Condensate Drain, Disinfection of the Interior of the Storage Tank Following Acceptance of the Interior Wet and Dry and Exterior Coating Systems, Reinstalling the Gas Curtain Heater Exhaust Pipe Rain Hoods Located at the Tank Exterior, Replacing Interior Lighting Within the Lower Level of the Tank Pedestal With Led Lighting, Replacing All Exterior Lighting With Led Lighting, Extending the Natural Gas Supply Line From the Gas Meter to Be Provided by PSE&G to the Existing Gas Curtain Heater and Demolition, Removal of the Existing Propane Gas Storage Tank and Foundation, and Any Other Identified Work Approved by the Owner. Bid Security Must Accompany Each Bid and Shall Be in the Amount of 10% of the Bid, but Not to Exceed $20,000, and May Be Given at the Option of the Bidder by Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond. The Monroe Township Utility Department Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, as Well as the Right to Waive All Informalities in Awarding a Contract.
