Request for Information: The Government is issuing this Request for Information to determine a competitive basis for the procurement described. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. Requirement: The Contractor shall repair and replace part of the Nashville Area Office's domestic water supply system that was damaged by the December 2023 tornado. Remove the existing 4" backflow preventers and associated valves, accessories and piping and replace "in-kind" with a new, full-size single 4" backflow preventer with associated valves, accessories, and piping. Replace the missing enclosure/"hot box" protecting the piping and covering the pit and make necessary repairs to the walls of the valve pit. The Scope of Work is still being developed and more details will be released within the Solicitation.
