The department wishes to have the following trees planted at 820 Bannister Rd. Chesapeake, VA 23324. o 15 Loblolly Pines o 5 River Birch o 5 Sycamore o 2 Hackberry o 3 Swamp White Oak o 15 Red Maple Vendor will meet on site with the Urban Forester prior to the installation of the trees. All holes will be marked and labeled by the Urban Forester during or prior to the site visit and the vendor will plant trees at the marked locations. If issues arise during installation, the vendor will communicate with the Urban Forester to determine a more suitable location for the trees outlined in section II. A. Trees will be installed in the blue zone identified in the image below with specific locations determined during the site visit. Trees shall be planted, mulched, and staked by the vendor according to ISA best practices. D. Trees shall be 15 gallon container size with a minimum height of 6' and a minimum caliper of 1". E. Trees shall be straight species or replacement approved by the City's Urban Forester. The City further reserves the right to reject any bids/proposals if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidders/offerors fails to satisfy the City that such bidders/offerors is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services contemplated therein Question Deadline 06/03/2024 at 5:00 PM ET
