Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Project No. 539-20-101 Replace Fort Thomas Boilers This project includes all construction activities necessary to successfully complete project. This project will replace the boiler and chiller plants at Fort Thomas. This construction project requires general contracting, electrical controls, mechanical, etc. to be successfully completed. As this is an occupied space, planning for phasing the construction work may be required. The period of performance is 913 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). An organized pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 06-07-2024 at 9:00 A.M. EST. Please see provision 52.236-27 for additional details. The magnitude of construction for this project is estimated to be between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. Question Deadline 06/13/2024 Deadline for submission of RFIs for this solicitation is close of business 06-13-2024. No questions will be answered after this date unless determined to be in the best interest of the Government as deemed by the Contracting Officer. The above SOW constitutes a basic outline of work and in no way outlines all of the details for the construction of this project. It is recommended that a detailed inspection of the premises be initiated to determine the needs and conditions for the project. Copies of the original construction drawings/record drawings for the space are available if needed. Construction contract supervision will be conducted by the Project Section of Engineering Service at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Conflicts between nationally recognized standards and VA Requirements: Should a conflict exist between VA requirements and VA adopted nationally recognized codes and standards, the conflict shall be brought to the attention of VA. The resolution of the conflict shall be made by the authority having jurisdiction for VA to ensure a consistency system wide. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
