Highway 101, rehabilitation of the Mattawasaga River Bridge and rehabilitation of the Ghost River Bridge. This assignment requires Contract Administration services for Contract 2024-5007. The project is located on Highway 101 and includes the rehabilitation of the Mattawasaga River Bridge (Site No. 39E-0155/B0) and rehabilitation of Ghost River Bridge (Site No. 39E-0154/B0). The project includes grading, hot mix paving, drainage and structural rehabilitation. The Mattawasaga River Bridge is located 14.4 kilometres east of the junction of Highway 672. The rehabilitation scope includes removal of the existing asphalt and waterproofing system, removal and reconstruction of existing curbs, parapet walls, and deck overhangs, partial depth concrete repairs to the deck, abutments, piers, and wingwalls, removal of existing expansion joints and construction of new Type 'C' expansion joints and concrete end dams, concrete deck overlay, repairs to timber piles, replacement of the existing abutment bearings, recoating girder ends and exterior splices, waterproofing and paving the deck and approaches. The Ghost River Bridge is located 4.3 kilometres west of the junction of Highway 672. The rehabilitation scope includes the full removal of superstructure, replacement of all bearing pads, partial depth concrete repairs to abutments, piers and wingwalls, crack injection to abutments and wingwalls, and waterproofing and paving the deck and approaches. Steel supply and girder fabrication are anticipated to commence late 2024. Construction activities are expected to commence in May 2025 and be completed in October 2026. Phase I of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is intended to identify and evaluate Key Project Staff (Project Manager and Contract Administrator) in accordance with the Ministry EOI Requirements - Long Form for Contract Administration.
