Lake Placid Shoreline Armoring. All questions regarding this project must be submitted in writing, through e-mail, to the Procurement division at procurement@gaithersburgmd.gov. Lake Placid Upstream Dam Embankment 100 Edison Park Drive Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878. Solicitation Summary The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for services to armor Lake Placid Significant Hazard Dam shoreline as identified by the 2023 Maryland Department of the Environment in their annual inspection of City High and Significant Hazard Dams. Photographs from the annual inspection can be viewed in Exhibit A. Approximately 690 linear feet of armoring is needed on the upstream dam embankment in accordance with Exhibit B & C.
