LIVING SHORELINE PROJECT PHASE I This project consists of installation of a hybrid living shoreline along the bulkhead of the CCMUA's Water Resource Recovery Facility on the Delaware River, Camden, New Jersey. In the event of any inconsistencies between this advertisement, as published, and the bid documentation, the bid documentation shall control. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10;5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1999, c. 238 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq,), New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act, where applicable. Proposals are being solicited through a "Fair And Open Process" in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.4, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. The Successful Bidder and Subcontractors shall hold or obtain any such licenses as required by State Statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations required to lawfully complete the work described in these contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject all of the Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all minor informalities in any Bid received and to accept the lowest responsible responsive bid all in accordance with applicable law. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of ten (10) percent of Bidder's Bid price, but not in excess of $20,000, and in the form of a certified check or bank money order or a Bid Bond (on the form attached) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey.
