Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,367-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Last date for Bid RFIs: 6/14/2024 UIC Facility Management central receiving will relocate to the lower level of the Disability, Health and Social Policy Building (UIC building number: 974). To accommodate this relocation, existing freight elevator E-5 will be modernized (elevator equipment is to be ordered as soon as possible due to long lead times), first floor dock requires selective renovations (767 square feet), and new security surveillance system will be implemented throughout the project. Additional modifications are to be made to existing door openings at the lower level as well as the fire alarm, mechanical, and electrical systems (14,367 square feet). Replacement of selected partitions and finishes is required on the lower level. All responses must include: There is a 30 percent BEP goal for this procurement.
