The County reserves the right to accept other than the lowest priced offer and to reject any proposals that are not responsive to this request. Burke County will require a minimum of fifteen working days to evaluate submitted proposals. Burke County reserves the right in its discretion to make a selection based directly on the proposals submitted. Burke County has the right to reject any or all proposals. Burke County, Georgia is requesting proposals to design, provide and install a drain away splash pad in connection with Citizen Park. Burke County will select one (I) Supplier to provide equipment and materials for the park as outlined in this request. I. Scope of Project Burke County desires to purchase a spray park system that is unique, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for children ages twelve and under. This project consists of the design and installation of a splash pad at Citizen Park located at 102 Hwy 24 South, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830. Work is to include the design of a splash pad within the area boundaries (see attached), as well as the installation of commercial grade splash pad equipment and surface as specified below. All equipment will be assembled and installed by the supplier. The proposals shall include the costs of delivered and installed splash pad systems as designed, inclusive of the equipment structures, components, hardware, detailed technical installation instructions and maintenance & operations manuals from manufacturer. Please include water sprayers that can convert to play equipment features in the future. Suppliers shall provide a maximum of (2) two designs within the budgeted amount. Project Allowance The total dollar amount allocated to the project, including equipment, delivery, and installation, is not to exceed $200,000.00. III. Site Contractors submitting a proposal for this work shall first examine the site of the proposed work so that they may fully understand facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of the contract. No subsequent allowances shall be made because of omission, error, or negligence in connection with this provision. Burke County will provide water, sewer, and electrical service within 20' of the proposed area of the splash park. The coordination of those services is the responsibility of the contractor.
