Pontotoc City School District is seeking bids for school lawn care and bed maintenance. Any questions should be directed to Phil Webb, pwebb@pontotoc.k12.ms.us or Wally Windham, wwindham@pon- totoc.k12.ms.us. Each bidder shall provide detailed information about how the bid requirements will be accomplished. Failure to provide documentation could cause the bid to be disqualified. Pontotoc City School District shall make the final determination of meeting specifications in award- ing this bid. Detailed specifica- tions and bid requirements are as follows: Grass mowing on the following schedule: Approximately 1 cutting in March Approximately 2 cuttings in April Approximately 3 cuttings per month (every 10 days) in the peak season of May, June, July, August and September Approximately 2 cuttings in Octo- ber (plus more if needed) oEdge all sidewalks and curbs. Trim around buildings, fences, trees, poles, etc... Twice a year maintenance (or more if needed) on all flowerbeds and shrubs which includes weeding the beds, trimming the shrubs, and adding pine straw in current beds. Spray herbicides for grass and weed control. Along with fertilizer to highly visible areas (fronts of schools and high visible road frontage) Parking lots will be cleaned/blown off of all natural debris during the mowing season oLight removal of limbs and other natural debris will be taken care of during mowing. oNo mowing or trimming will be conducted inside the fence of any athletic field or the practice field behind the senior parking lot.
