Renovation of a municipal facility in Bourne, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of the project consists of renovation to Admiral's Hall to provide a new raised platform stage including, but not limited to, Architectural Improvements; New Finishes; and Electrical Improvements. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Contractor shall perform all Work required by the Contract Documents for ADMIRAL’S HALL STAGE Project No. IFB24-15 referred to in the Contract Documents prepared by BIA.STUDIO as and referred to as the Prime Designer. The scope of the project consists of renovation to Admiral’s Hall to provide a new raised platform stage, including but not limited to Architectural Improvements; New Finishes; Electrical Improvements. A. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to: Renovation to Admiral’s Hall to provide a new raised platform stage, including but not limited to Architectural Improvements; New Finishes; and Electrical Improvements. The project expected start date is Monday June 24th, 2024 with a substantial completion date of August 2nd, 2024 and the final completion date is no later than August 9th, 2024. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing and paying for a construction administration software application to be used by all participants on the Project at no cost. B. n addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. C. The Contractor's attention is directed to Article 3.3 of the General Conditions. D. Permits: See Article 3.16.1 of the General Conditions. E. Utility Back Charges: If applicable, see Article 3.16.5 of the General Conditions. F. Police Details: If applicable, see Article 3.16.6 of the General Conditions The site/building and adjacent site/buildings will be occupied during construction unless otherwise noted in the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to ensure the public safety and convenience of the occupants during construction. H. The Work must be completed in a continuous uninterrupted operation. The Contractor must use sufficient personnel and adequate equipment to complete all the necessary Work requirements within a minimum period of time. I. In accordance with Articles 3.3.7 and 3.3.8 of the General Conditions and unless specifically authorized in writing by the Awarding Authority, the Work must be conducted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday through Friday. No work is to be done on holidays, Saturdays or Sundays or days that Massachusetts Maritime Academy Admiral’s Hall Stage Project #IFB24-15 05/29/2024 the Awarding Authority is closed other than for emergencies. J. The Contractor is responsible for the security of partially completed Work until the Final Acceptance of Work by the Awarding Authority. K. Only materials and/or equipment intended and necessary for immediate use shall be brought into the Project area. At the end of each workday and at the completion of each phase of Work, equipment and leftover or unused materials shall be removed from the area. L. Smoking is not permitted on site or in buildings/facilities The work is estimated to cost $148,656.00 The Project consists of but not limited to: Renovation to Admiral’s Hall to provide a new raised platform stage, including but not limited to Architectural Improvements; New Finishes; and Electrical Improvements. The project expected start date is Monday June 24th, 2024 with a substantial completion date of August 2nd, 2024 and the final completion date is no later than August 9th, 2024 The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has set the following goals for workforce participation for minorities and women. The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. The Contractor shall strive to achieve on this project the labor workforce participation goals contained herein.
