Service to municipalities begins on January 1, 2025 , depending on the nature of the services to be provided under the contract: Collection and transport for the 10 municipalities of the MRC for a contract lasting 5 years, in accordance with the Act mainly amending the Environmental Quality Act with regard to deposit and selective collection (LQ 2021, c. 5), and may, as an option, be extended under the same terms, conditions and prices submitted in the price schedule, for two (2) annual extension options for a period of one (1) year. Processing will be done at Recuperation Frontenac at 217, Monfette Ouest, Thetford Mines, QC. Only persons, corporations and companies, having their main place of business in Quebec or having an establishment located in Canada, who hold an appropriate license under the Act respecting the professional qualification of construction contractors are eligible to bid. When an interested person or company is of the opinion that the tender documents or the contract award process do not comply with the contractual rules in force, they may complain to the public body concerned. or to the Public Procurement Authority (AMP). Any complaints relating to this call for tenders must be received no later than June 17, 2024 . Any submission transmitted electronically whose integrity is not noted upon opening is rejected if this irregularity is not remedied within two working days following the notice of defect sent by the MRC. A bid deposit in the minimum amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the total value of the bid in the form of a certified check on a Chartered Bank of Canada or a Caisse Populaire, or a bid bond and an agreement relating to the issuance of guarantees, in accordance with the examples attached to the call for tenders document, all payable to the "MRC BEAUCE-CENTRE" and reimbursable under conditions, must accompany the tender. THE MRC BEAUCE-CENTRE does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the bids received. The Client reserves the right to withdraw certain parts of the Contract and will not be liable to any action or claim for costs or losses suffered as a result of such a decision.
