The Medford Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from contractors for the Tempone Parking Lot Improvements at Tempone Apartments, 22 Allston Street, in Medford, MA, in accordance with the documents prepared by GCG Associates, INC. The project consists of, but is not limited to: Reconstruction of existing parking areas and drives, new curbing, and ramps. The work is estimated to cost $250,000.00. Question: All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by June 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. for general bids. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.3039M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. Bids are subject to the federal Davis Bacon Wage Determination. The work to be performed under the contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u) as well as additional HUD forms and Equal Opportunity Employment requirements, as set forth in the project manual. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the Medford Housing Authority.
