The work to be done consists of shoulder widening and shoulder paving construction, in general, erosion control, roadway excavation, grading, compacting, placing of aggregate base and hot mix asphalt, conforming driveways to the new shoulder, and placing shoulder rumble strips and edge line stripe on 6 segments of road in Madera County as shown on the Plans and in accordance with the 2022 State Standard Specifications, and amendments through 11-18-22, and these Special Provisions. This project has an established Race Neutral goal of 17% disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) participation. The number of trainees or apprentices is 1 for the Federal Training Program. Submit your bid with bidder's security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid in the form of cash, a cashier's check, a certified check, or a bidder's bond. All unit prices in your bid should be entered to the nearest $0.01.
