The Project includes the following Work: The project includes, but is not limited to, stormwater drainage improvements, pipe removal and replacement, ditch excavation, and restoration of an existing ditch. The maximum allowable number of consecutive calendar days for the completion of Work (the Contract Time) is set forth in the Bid Proposal and will be included in the executed Agreement. The project will be subject to liquidated damages in the amount of Three and Fifty Dollars ($350) per consecutive calendar day for each day in default after the stipulated completion date. The contract time will begin when the Contractor commences work on this project but no later than the tenth consecutive calendar day after receipt of a notice to proceed from the Owner. The City of Diamondhead, Mississippi, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Diamondhead, Mississippi, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the contract.
