The City of Charlotte is seeking a new contract for materials to maintain the Citys RRFB infrastructure. Work includes furnishing Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) in accordance with the current edition of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Traffic Signal Specifications, CDOT requirements. The Charlotte Department of Transportation uses marked crosswalks or pedestrian warning signs to improve the safety of pedestrians crossing the road. Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons increase driver awareness at uncontrolled or marked crosswalks to accompany warning signs. Questions Due Date: May 30th 2024, 12:00 PM EDT
