This design-build project is the replacement of the HVAC system within building 959. This replacement includes new fan coil units, pipes, and pipe insulation. The existing 2-pipe system has extreme scaling inside the pipes and is causing blockages at the fan coil units. Each 'Bedroom Unit' currently contains 2 Bedrooms, thus 2 FCUs. The project includes the removal and replacement of the fan coil units, pipes, and insulation. This scope of work (SOW) includes all the BEQ units. Bid Option I is to complete the same work stated in the base bid at the NGIS units. A phasing plan is included in the RFP to delineate the two groups within the building and their associated wings and associated phasing.
