This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary to construct an HMA overlay on Country Club Boulevard between University Avenue and Cedarwood Avenue in the City of Clive, Iowa. Project items include full depth patching, milling, HMA overlay, intake reconstruction, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk replacement, fixture adjustments, traffic control and restoration. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (10) percent of the total bid amount Work on the improvements shall commence upon receipt of the written Notice to Proceed and shall be completed by May 30, 2025. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
