Renovation of a municipal facility in Cuba, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
CCBPDD is soliciting bids from regional and local contractors for work consisting of replacement and/or repair of a fire damaged structure including its roof and interior structure and components. This bid shall be inclusive of all incidental work including demolition, waste disposal, design and permitting. CCBPDD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities in bidding. The successful bidder shall meet with the board to negotiate a firm contract for services before any work shall be commissioned. The Missouri prevailing wage act will apply to this construction project. No bidder may withdraw his or his bid for a period of sixty days after bid opening. 1. Remove walls between rooms 105 and 107, 107 and 109, 109 and 111, 108 and 110. Remove unnecessary electrical wiring. 2. Remove bathrooms in rooms 105, 106, 107, 109, 113, 114, 115, 117. Cap water and sewer lines. Prepare floor for final finish. 3. Remove all sheetrock and insulation on walls and ceiling. Reinsulate, sheetrock and paint. 4. Remove floor tile in the entire wing. Repair any damage and apply epoxy coating. 5. Remove all PTACS, brick (exterior), sheetrock (interior). 6. Remove all overhead lighting, replace with LED lighting. (66 fixtures) 7. Repair HVAC systems in wood shop. (4 ton and 2 ton) 8. Install 2 new HVAC systems in assembly area. 9. Inspect wiring and replace burnt wire, outlets, and covers. Rewire as needed for the west wing. 10. Remove all trash. 11. Build post and beams to support trusses for wall removal. 12. Repair Ext. Light pole wire. 13. Remove and replace roof and trusses as needed to retain structural integrity. 14. Re-shingle entire wing with 30-year architectural shingles and ridge vent. 15. Remove and replace siding, soffit, facia and gutters on west wing. 16. Clean brick. 17. Replace plumbing vents in attic. 18. Replace all fire walls in west wing. 19. Install all necessary trim and attic access panels. 20. Install 2 speed Attic fan with vent in the paint room. 21. Clean all construction materials from west wing upon completion of repairs.
