Site work for a road / highway in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The purpose of this proposed contract is to provide Forest Service Road (FSR) construction services at two proposed new road locations in the Columbia Zone of the BCTS Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. Services will include the construction of approximately 1.3km of new permanent FSR in the Mt Hall operating area south of Revelstoke and approximately 1.9km of new permanent FSR in the Jumping Creek operating area east of Revelstoke. Services will include all associated site preparation, excavation, rock blasting, ditch establishment, culvert installation, landing construction, surfacing, grading, and grass seeding. The services will ensure the proposed FSRs are built to a high standard, are environmentally sound, safe, and provide the required access to planned timber sale areas. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca Award is subject to final approval.
