Rehabilitation of a former Lake Florenz-Ziegfeld landfill site containing contaminants located on rue Principale/rang de la riviere Batiscan du Canton de Laure, La Tuque. TIMELINE: Contract for consulting services for Phase III Environmental Site Assessment, ecological study, rehabilitation plan and support has been awarded to Le Groupe SCP Environment Inc. Reference number: 1855036. The services include, in addition to phase III environmental characterization, an ecological study, the development of a characterization plan, the characterization report, recommendations and their justifications on the follow-up to be given to the characterization, the development of a rehabilitation program as well as the definition of needs for the call for tenders for the rehabilitation contract, including technical plans and specifications. A phase I ESA was carried out in 2014 and a phase II ESA in 2022. The mandate is expected to be completed by September 30, 2025. Further update in late summer, 2025.
