Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chilton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Shady Lane and Hickory Hills Rd Town Specs will require pulverizing existing asphalt, fine grade, water and compact the existing base. Construct a 3.0" two-course compacted depth asphalt (2" binder 3LT, 58-28s surface 1.0" 4LT, 58-28s ) apply tack coat as necessary. Bids need to include price for pulverize and fine grade also estimated tonnage for asphalt. Bids for both all project locations should be submitted separately and independent of the other. Project Location #1 Shady Lane: Shady Lane approximately 3380 feet from 380 feet past Town of Stockbridge line within the Town of Chilton to approximately 200 feet past the first Long Road intersection in the Town of Stockbridge. Shouldering should be listed as an optional line item in this bid. Project Location #2 Hickory Hills Road: Hickory Hills Road from Long Road to Moehrke Road. Shouldering should be listed as an optional line item in this bid. Questions can be directed to the road supervisor by calling 920-378- 5620. All bids shall quote price for completed work including producing, furnishing, and placing all materials including all labor, tools, equipment, testing, and incidentals necessary to complete the work including traffic control. BID REJECTION - The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Stockbridge.
