Renovation of a detention facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The general scope of the Project is as follows: Provide parallel generators, new emergency and normal equipment, switchboards, transfer switches, and associated electrical infrastructure for a complete facility standby power system. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base Bid and all alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond written in conformance with state law. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond on a form provided by the Parish and written in accordance with state law The Parish of Caddo reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for just cause and to waive any informalities and technicalities. The Parish of Caddo shall incur no obligation to the Contractor until the Contract between Owner and Contractor is fully executed.
