Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The General Services Administration, Public Building Service, Greater Southwest Region 7, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the renovation of the two story office area on the East side of the 1930s DOT warehouse for the relocation of MARAD from the Hale Boggs Building. The work consists of demolition of the interior finishes, partial removal of exterior cladding, and removal of MEP, fire sprinkler and other systems within the area to be renovated. New work includes interior finishes, exterior cladding, MEP systems and fixtures, fire sprinklers, and other systems related to the renovation of the office area. Some minor site work is also included in the work. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $45 million. All responsible, qualified firms are encourgaged to submit a proposal. The source selection process and criteria will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Process.
